The space
• Located between two quiet neighborhoods.
• Access to indoor hot tub, fire pit, and shared basketball pole.
• Washer, dryer, and ironing board so you can do your laundry.
• Off-street parking: four parking spaces in front of the house, additional parking upon request, free EV charger for electric cars.
• Living room contains a 65” 4K smart television.
• Every bedroom has it's own individual smart TV.
• Fully equipped kitchen.
• Dedicated workspace so you can work from home.
• Guest house is part of a duplex.
Guest access
Guests will have access to their entire side of guest house with the exception of one small storage closet.
Outside of the guest house, you will also have access to some of our exterior amenities, including our fire pit, patio, and a shared basketball hoop. You are also welcome to take a walk or play games in the fields on the back 8 acres of our property.
All exterior amenities of the estate are shared with the main house, so you may encounter us while you are using them.

CHECK IN: Check in is at 4 PM or later.
CHECK OUT: Check out is at noon.
PARKING: There are four well marked parking spaces directly in front of the guest house. You are welcome to use any and all of them.

Summary: Came for Memorial Day weekend getaway. Brought our dogs who loved the dog park to run free. As did our 2 yr old. The toy barn is stacked with all kinds of games, ride em cars, drifters, any thing you could want. Clean property, and lots to do nearby. Doc and his wife even provided baby specific toys and pack n play crib for our arrival. Very communicative and kind people. Baby enjoyed his first fire pit, s’mores and golf cart ride! Highly recommend.

Summary: The Calico Cottage was more of a retreat than the business trip I was using it for! Perfect, quiet space with everything you could need in a convenient location to stores & restaurants. They even have a huge private dog park with a firepit inside of it so guests can hang out while their dogs run around like crazy. We will definitely be back!!

Summary: This was easily one of the best STRs I've stayed at. Exactly as advertised, EXCEPTIONALLY clean, modern, thoughtful, and comfortable. Perfect for a couple or small family traveling with pets. The half acre dog park complete with fire pit and seating area makes for an awesome relaxation spot with your fur kids. The owner was lightning fast to respond and always available. I'd book again in a heartbeat.

Summary: This place is amazing! Very well maintained property and very safe surroundings. The house was updated, cozy but spacious, and had everything you would need. Doc went out of his way to accommodate us, excellent host, great communication, all around good experience. Close to plenty of restaurants, area attractions, and leas than 10 minutes from Alum Creek. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Summary: Beautiful property centrally located. Very easy to get around to Columbus, Polaris Mall, Easton Center, Worthington, and Delaware. There are so many amenities-everything is on premise. The owners thought of everything so there is no need to bring a lot of extra items. Very clean and nicely decorated.Would highly recommend for couples, family, fur baby parents, and parents with young children.

Summary: "I booked the cottage just a couple of days before my arrival, and everything went smoothly. The owners were great at communicating, and the cottage was perfect—equipped with everything I needed. I felt completely safe on the property. Having traveled to all 50 states, I can confidently say this is one of the best rentals I've found on VRBO. The owner even provided excellent restaurant recommendations. I'm hesitant to share this gem because I want to keep it a secret, but I will definitely be back!"
